Warriors need Curry to stay out of foul trouble in Game 7

The last time we saw Stephen Curry on the basketball court, he was flinging his mouthpiece in anger and frustration after picking up his sixth foul in the fourth quarter of Game 6 on Thursday night.

Not surprisingly, the postgame conversation centered on Curry’s uncharacteristic outburst, which led the first ejection of his NBA career. Another relevant issue on the brink of Game 7: The Warriors need Curry to avoid foul trouble.

It’s happened sporadically this postseason, frequently on silly and unnecessary fouls. He also got into foul trouble in Game 2 of these Finals, limiting his playing time to 25 minutes; Draymond Green picked up the slack with 28 points and the Warriors won.
