Warriors’ McAdoo receives stitches, won’t return to Rockets game

HOUSTON — Warriors forward James Michael McAdoo has received seven stitches above his left eyebrow, but has no concussion. He will not return to Golden State’s game against the Rockets.

Late in the first quarter, McAdoo crashed into Houston’s Trevor Ariza and crumpled to the floor. Ariza then fell, landing on McAdoo’s head. McAdoo stayed on the court for several moments before heading to the locker room, where trainers gave him stitches and examined whether he had a concussion.
