HOUSTON — Late in the first quarter Friday night, Stephen Curry found James Michael McAdoo in the post for a two-handed dunk.
It was a forgettable play. That is, except for one important detail: Those were McAdoo’s first points since a blowout loss in Memphis on Dec. 10.
“It felt good,” said McAdoo, who finished Golden State’s 125-108 win over the Rockets with a season-high eight points.
With center David West out with a thumb injury, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made McAdoo his first big man off the bench Friday.
