OAKLAND -- Warriors forward Harrison Barnes suffered a right knee sprain in the second quarter of Tuesday's preseason game and missed the rest of the Warriors' 114-103 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
Barnes did not return to the sideline after colliding with a Nuggets player and heading to the locker room, as Andre Iguodala took his place in the lineup after halftime. After the game, interim coach Luke Walton said Barnes is day-to-day.Barnes started in every game for the Warriors last season as they won the NBA championship with one of the healthiest rosters in the league. He averaged 10.
