Steph Curry carried the Warriors to a Game 1 win over the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday evening with his remarkably efficient shooting.
He finished with 38 points on just 16 shots and also chipped in 15 rebounds, taking over the game and starting the Warriors off on the right foot in the first-round series.
Draymond Green’s improved shooting also buoyed the Warriors during the first half when the Clippers’ bench, but whether he can sustain that level of production remains to be seen.
Game 1 also saw Steve Kerr turn to the Warriors’ “Death Lineup” earlier than anyone would have expected, jumpstarting Golden State’s intensity after the LA bench’s first-half run.
