The Golden State Warriors, in partnership with Uber Eats, have launched a program to support Bay Area small businesses while feeding essential employees.
It’s called Golden Giveback. Here’s how it works:
Every week, the Warriors will promote a different locally owned San Francisco or Oakland restaurant on their social media channels. The team and Uber Eats then will match the revenue of all meals that are ordered by fans using a special promotion code. Those matched monies go to the restaurants, who will use the proceeds to make meals for essential employees in the Bay Area.
