When the Warriors’ season unceremoniously ended in March, Ky Bowman was just beginning to snap out of his funk.
“It felt like I was just getting rolling,” Bowman told the Bay Area News Group in a phone interview this week. “It was disappointing.”
As disappointing as the sudden end of the season was for players and fans, it could not have come at a worse time for Bowman.
Bowman’s rookie season was a tale of two halves. In November, it seemed like the slashing scorer and high-energy defender had all but cemented his status as the Warriors’ backup point guard of the future.
