Warriors’ Klay Thompson to play after getting kneed in Game 2: ‘It’s just a charley horse’

CLEVELAND – Warriors guard Klay Thompson said he was kneed in the thigh in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, but he will play against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 on Tuesday.

“It’s just a charley horse,” said Thompson, who scored a team-high 34 points Sunday.

Thompson did not appear on the Warriors’ injury report released Monday before WKYC-TV reported he had a “noticeable limp” getting off the team bus after the team arrived in Cleveland.
