Warriors’ Klay Thompson has a torn ACL, report says

Klay Thompson tore the ACL in his left knee Thursday night during Game 6, according to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The report cited Thompson’s agent Greg Lawrence.

Thompson had scored 28 points in Game 6 when he went up for a dunk in the third quarter. He was fouled by Toronto’s Danny Green and landed awkwardly on his left leg.

Golden State’s Klay Thompson has suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, his agent Greg Lawrence tells ESPN.

He was helped off the floor and down the tunnel toward the Warriors’ locker room before dramatically coming back to make his two free throws.
