From chugging beers at Giants-Dodgers games to taking a dip in the Bay, Warriors star Klay Thompson has a habit of popping up in notable San Francisco Bay Area locales. But for a few lucky high school and middle school students last week, Thompson’s surprise appearance during a pickup game at a local gym tops the list.
Thompson dropped by the Hamilton Recreation Center on Thursday, March 30th, shocking the students and adults playing basketball and making memories that will last a lifetime.
During his visit, Thompson gave out high fives, posed for a photo with San Francisco Mayor London Breed (also in attendance) and even ran drills with some of the young basketball players.
