The Golden State Warriors got absolutely shellacked by the Phoenix Suns on Thursday, losing 120-98. They didn't have Steph Curry or Draymond Green or Kelly Oubre, so the outcome wasn't very surprising. But there were a few bright spots in the defeat — namely, Jordan Poole.
The second-year guard — who was recently called up from the G League — actually backed up Nico Mannion, a rookie who was also just in the G League. Mannion was so-so in 31 minutes of action, scoring nine points while dishing six assists. Poole, on the other hand, provided a much-needed scoring punch.
