Warriors’ Jordan Bell to return against Knicks

NEW YORK — After missing the past 14 games with inflammation in his right ankle, Warriors rookie forward Jordan Bell on Monday against the New York Knicks on limited minutes off the bench. Meanwhile, Warriors third-year reserve Kevon Looney will move to the inactive roster.

After averaging 5.1 points on 66.4 percent shooting and 3.9 rebounds in 14.4 minutes through 38 appearances, Warriors coach Steve Kerr noted the team had become pleased with Bell’s athleticism and defensive versatility.
