Warriors join elite company with 5-0 start

Steph Curry scores 13 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter and the Warriors defeat the Clippers 112-108.

The Warriors joined legendary company with their latest victory.

Golden State became just the fifth team in NBA history to start 5-0 in consecutive seasons. Three of the previous four teams to do this won back-to-back titles during this stretch, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

That would be Jordan's 1995-96 and 1996-97 Bulls, Hakeem's 1993-94 and 1994-95 Rockets and Russell's 1963-64 and 1964-65 Celtics. The other team, Wilt's 1966-67 and 1967-68 76ers, still brought home one title.
