The NBA Champion Golden State Warriors announced today that fans are invited to a photo opportunity with the Warriors 2015 NBA Championship trophy at San José City Hall, Rotunda on Monday, October 5 from 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. San José Mayor Sam Liccardo will present a proclamation in the Rotunda at 11:30 a.m. to honor the Warriors’ commitment to the San José community ahead of the team’s preseason game against the Toronto Raptors at the SAP Center (tip-off 7:30 p.m.). During a pregame reception and at halftime of the game, the Warriors will honor two South Bay individuals and three community organizations who have elevated the San José community through the Warriors and the San José Mayor’s Office’s Champions in the Community program.
