The Golden State Warriors have a new sideline TV reporter and apparently she’s got game.
NBC Sports Bay Area and the NBA champs announced today that veteran sports anchor and reporter Kerith Burke has joined the Warriors broadcast team. She will make her debut Friday at Oracle Arena when the Warriors host the Sacramento Kings in their final preseason contest.
Burke has more than a decade of sports broadcast experience, including a stint as a sideline reporter for NBC’s coverage of the U.S. women’s gold medal-winning basketball team during the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Most of her work has been on the East Coast, where she had a long run as an anchor and reporter at SportsNet New York (SNY) — a regional cable network featuring coverage of the New York Mets, New York Jets and University of Connecticut men’s and women’s basketball.
