De’Anthony Melton will not play another game for the Warriors this season, but he’s still the subject of trade rumors for Golden State.
The 26-year-old guard is set to undergo surgery to repair an ACL injury that he picked up against the Mavericks on Nov. 12. While he’s out for the season, his expiring contract — Golden State signed him to a one-year, $12.8 million deal this offseason — could be of interest for tanking teams despite his inability to play.
