Warriors guard Stephen Curry’s jersey was retired by his high school, Charlotte Christian School, and the student section at Davidson College was named in honor of the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player in dual ceremonies this evening. Curry attended both events while the Warriors are in Charlotte ahead of their game against the Hornets tomorrow night.
Curry was a three-year varsity player for Charlotte Christian, leading the Knights to three conference titles and three appearances in the state playoffs. A graduate of the class of 2006, Curry was named to the All-Conference and All-State teams as a junior and a senior.
