OAKLAND – The experience left the Warriors mesmerized with the country’s culture, intrigued with the business opportunities and humbled with the fan support. Unfortunately for the Warriors, their week-long pre-season trip last year to China also left them extremely tied and disoriented.
All of which leaves the Warriors grateful they do not have to experience it again during their current training camp. Because of that reduced itinerary, Warriors coach Steve Kerr noticed “there’s just a sense of comfort and ease.”
“This is the way you’re supposed to enter a season,” Kerr said before the Warriors’ pre-season opening loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday at Oracle Arena.
