Warriors get Green back Monday against Wolves

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will play Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing the past 11 games because of a sprained toe in his right foot.

"Just excited to be back on the floor," Green said after Sunday's practice. "It's been a while since I really played basketball, so I'm excited."

Warriors coach Steve Kerr says he's also excited to get his team's defensive stalwart back and is confident Green's presence will give the group another positive jolt.

"He's the best defensive player in the league," Kerr said.
