Warriors finalize agreement for Buddy Hield sign-and-trade with 76ers

The Golden State Warriors have finalized the deal to acquire shooting guard Buddy Hield in a sign-and-trade with the Philadelphia 76ers. The Dubs will be sending the Mavericks’ 2031 second-round pick to the Sixers in the deal, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Hield agreed to a deal that could be worth up to $36 million over four years, but only guarantees him $21 million, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Hield is guaranteed $18 million over the first two years of his contract and has a $3 million partial guarantee in the third year.
