LOS ANGELES — Klay Thompson adheres to a strict code: Regardless of how many shots he has missed, he’ll continue to hoist jumpers. Slumps can last only so long for one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, right?

After laboring through three quarters Monday night, Thompson unleashed one of his signature scoring binges, pouring in 13 of his 31 points in the fourth to lift the Warriors to an unexpected overtime.
