SAN DIEGO — The Warriors' preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers ended early Saturday night as the game was called during the third quarter because of problems with the playing surface at Valley View Casino Center.
The Lakers were leading 85-70 with 2:16 left in the third quarter when the public address announcer announced to a booing crowd that the game was finished. Before the contest, there was condensation on the court due to the ice surface underneath that the AHL's San Diego Gulls play on.The Warriors did get to see Stephen Curry catch fire.Curry coming off an MVP year and abbreviated offseason has looked the most ready for the real games to start, scoring 19 points.
