CHARLOTTE — Warriors executive board member Jerry West is hospitalized but in good condition, head coach Steve Kerr said during Golden State’s shootaround Wednesday morning at Spectrum Center.
Warriors director of player programs and Jerry’s son, Jonnie West, “said his dad is doing well,” Kerr said. “That’s great news. We don’t have any details except that he’s doing fine.”
TMZ first reported Tuesday night that Jerry West, 78, had been hospitalized after a medical scare at a private country club in the Los Angeles area. It is unclear whether he collapsed or fell before being transported in an ambulance to the hospital.
