Midway through the second quarter Sunday night, when he made eye contact with Draymond Green and pointed toward the rim, Shaun Livingston wasn’t sure whether Green would toss him the lob.
Livingston is hardly the prototypical alley-oop target. At age 31, the Warriors’ backup point guard still deals with lingering soreness from the gruesome left knee injury that forced him to miss the entire 2007-08 season as he learned to walk again.
“I know (Green) had seen me,” Livingston said, “but I didn’t know if he had the confidence to throw it up to me.”
Green lofted the long pass to a driving Livingston, who launched, spun away from the rim and hammered home the reverse slam.
