The Warriors’ players are starting to believe that head coach Steve Kerr could return from his leave of absence in the near future.
Kerr, who has been out since Oct. 1 as he recovers from two offseason back surgeries — the first of which caused a spinal-fluid leak — plans to test his recovery during the team’s 17-day, five-game homestand and has been especially vocal during the first few days of the span.
“He looks much better,” starting center Andrew Bogut said. “He’s put weight back on and looks like he’s feeling better and moving around more.
