DENVER -- Warriors forward Draymond Green will not play against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday and rest an ankle that has been giving him discomfort since tweaking it more than two weeks ago.
"They didn't have to do too much convincing because I know I need it," Green said of the rest. "I wanted to fight it, but my body wouldn't let me."I'm pretty beat up right now."Green had been the only Warriors starter to play every game, and he plays a team-leading 34.9 minutes per game -- a number that increased while Harrison Barnes was out of action.
