Warriors’ Draymond Green “wanted to play” vs. Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo

LOS ANGELES — The ice bags stayed wrapped firmly around Draymond Green’s knees. For the past week, the Warriors’ forward has also received plenty of treatment to the soreness in his right foot.

How does he feel for when the Warriors (11-2) visit the Los Angeles Clippers (7-5) on Monday?

“I’m good enough to play,” Green said following morning shootaround. “That’s all that matters.”

Green told Warriors coach Steve Kerr a similar message ever since missing the second half against Memphis exactly a week ago. Kerr did not listen. Instead, Green missed two Warriors homes games, first on Thursday against Milwaukee and then on Saturday against Brooklyn.
