A Los Angeles man with gang ties facing federal murder, human trafficking, robbery and extortion charges allegedly defrauded Warriors forward Draymond Green of $20,000, according to a report from the LA Times.
The lengthy criminal complaint published Wednesday accuses Eugene “Big U” Henley Jr. of being a longtime Crips leader who embezzled large donations from celebrities to a charity he created, called Developing Options, and pocketing the money in his bank account. However, the feds didn’t identify any of the big names, described only as “NBA players,” who lost money. The names came from the Times “through federal sources and public interviews.
