It seems weird to say this, but this felt like a must-win game for the Golden State Warriors.
A day after sustaining their worst loss of the season, a blowout to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Warriors had to defend their home court and their record against a young, hungry team. They sat at 56-6 at the beginning of March and this felt like a game they needed to come out and win. Not for record-chasing purposes, but to keep the boat from sinking.
Fortunately for the Warriors, bouncing back isn’t too difficult when you have the best player in the world.
