The Warriors seized a series-clinching 103-90 victory in Game 6 of the NBA Finals over the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden on Thursday night, closing out the series 4-2 and becoming the 2022 NBA Champions.
It was a fitting end to the NBA’s spectacular 75th anniversary season, as two of the league’s three original franchises that are still in existence went head-to-head in the best-of-seven series.
Stephen Curry led the victorious feat with 34 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, going 12-for-21 from the field and 6-for-11 from 3-point range. Andrew Wiggins produced 18 points while Draymond Green erupted for a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
