SAN FRANCISCO — Warriors guard D’Angelo Russell left Saturday’s game after a collision with Mavericks guard Luka Doncic left him crumpled on the floor for a long while. Despite the scary moment, Russell returned to the game in fourth quarter.
With 5:27 left in the third quarter, Russell ran head-first into the left hip of Doncic. He collapsed immediately and remained on the court near the Mavericks’ bench for several minutes. A stretcher was wheeled out, but Russell eventually got up on his own two feet and walked to the locker room under his own power.
