LOS ANGELES — Despite being on the winning end of two coach’s challenges this season, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr would prefer not to have the option to stop the game to review a call. He’d rather keep it moving.
The NBA adopted a coach’s challenge rule for the 2019-20 season on a one-year trial basis and, if were up to Kerr, it would last for one year only.
Despite having experimented with the coach’s challenge several times in the preseason and winning two of his six challenges so far in the regular season, Kerr does not believe the time replay takes is worth the interruption to the game.
