Steve Kerr has heard plenty of Warriors fans question his rotation choices over the years. But now that he’s leading the United States men’s national team through its tuneup games for the Olympics, that noise is getting louder and louder. Basketball fans were buzzing Wednesday over Kerr’s decisions after the U.S. beat Serbia, 105-79, in Abu Dhabi, the third of five exhibition games before Olympic play begins later this month.
The criticism mainly came down to two decisions: taking Steph Curry out during the middle of a first-half hot stretch and continuing to start Joel Embiid as the big man struggles and Anthony Davis and Bam Adebayo both shine coming off the bench.
