It took facing Superman, but the Warriors finally unveiled the full fury of their two-headed monster at center.
Centers Andrew Bogut and Festus Ezeli were sensational in the Warriors’ 104-90 Game 5 victory Wednesday night, wrapping up a Western Conference finals series during which the twosome surprisingly outdueled Houston’s Dwight Howard.
“You know, it’s funny, this series started out with Game 1, where we made our big push going small, and there was all this talk about how small ball was going to dominate the series, and in Game 5, I don’t think we went small for one second,” head coach Steve Kerr said.
