OKLAHOMA CITY — The Warriors center rotation took another hit Saturday, as Kevon Looney will miss the next two games, and probably more, with further complications with his hamstring.
Looney, who did not play in the second half of Thursday’s game against the Clippers due to right hamstring tightness, has been ruled out for the team’s current two-game road trip to Oklahoma City and New Orleans as he deals with a condition that has delayed his recovery. He sat out the entire preseason with a strain to the same hamstring.
Instead, Looney will see a team of specialists to evaluate the on-going presence of what the organization is calling a “neuropathic condition” that has a direct correlation to his recent injury, according to the team.
