From the minute Anderson Varejao joined the Golden State Warriors it was clear that he fit in right away.
Whether it was the strong team chemistry that was already in place or the fact that he’s been a fantastic teammate everywhere he has been, Varejao became a fan favorite. He also drew the ire of many opposing teams because of his ability to draw fouls, some of which were big flops, and his ability to do what it takes to win.
He even wasn’t afraid to mix it up on the floor a bit, as he and Gerald Henderson notably got into it during Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
