Once again, someone on the Golden State Warriors wants Brandin Podziemski to hear something.
Among the frustrations that head coach Steve Kerr expressed after the Dubs’ 119-115 loss to the Nuggets on Tuesday — extending the team’s losing streak to five games — was Podziemski’s performance. The sophomore guard scored 13 points, grabbed four rebounds and notched four assists, but he also gave up five fouls, missed all three of his 3-point attempts and made some questionable decisions that drew an outburst from the Golden State coach.
“He needs to be a smart player,” Kerr bemoaned after the game.
