Stephen Curry won’t be the only MVP on the court Wednesday night, at least in theory. That’s what Curry’s teammate, Shaun Livingston, suggested in talking about high-flying Clippers forward Blake Griffin.
“He’s taken his game to another level,” Livingston said of Griffin after Golden State’s shootaround Wednesday morning. “He’s playing at an MVP-type level. I’m a fan of his game. It’s going to take a team effort to contain him.”
Curry justifiably has attracted much attention in the season’s first week. He’s scoring a league-best 37 points per game, draining three-point shots by the boatload and driving to the basket with vigor.
