Somewhat overlooked in the Warriors’ season of coffee-spitting statistics is the number zero.
They haven’t lost consecutive games and moved five games away from being the first NBA team to complete a season in such a manner with a 136-111 response of a victory against Portland in a Sunday matinee at Oracle Arena.
Coming off their first home loss of the season, the Warriors (69-8) showed their resiliency and competitive streak with one of their cleanest games in weeks. They committed only 13 turnovers and led for the game’s final 29 ½ minutes against the Trail Blazers (41-37).
