Two-time NBA champion David West will not return in search of a third consecutive title, according to a tweet posted Thursday morning to the 15-year veteran's official Twitter account.
"I have been fortunate enough to live out my childhood dream of playing in the NBA," West wrote in a statement on his personal account. "After 15 seasons I have decided to retire from the game of basketball."
