The Warriors had their smallest test to date. And still no championship hangover.
After beating up on playoff teams in their first five games, the Warriors didn’t let up against the Denver Nuggets, who lost 52 times last season and were soundly defeated in Friday night’s visit to Oakland 119-104.
The Warriors raced to their first 6-0 start in their West Coast history and are the NBA’s only undefeated team, thanks to Toronto’s loss Friday. They’ve won 22 straight home games, and the only other Bay Area pro team with as many as 20 is the A’s.
