Warriors beat: Bogut trumpets Jarryd Hayne’s fame

The Warriors have been invited to attend the game between the 49ers and Packers on Sunday, the team’s first day off since training camp opened Tuesday.

Well known for camaraderie — a link built through years of group chats and team-wide dinner and movie dates — the Warriors often get full participation for optional events like this. But center Andrew Bogut might not be able to attend this time.

Bogut is dealing with jet lag from his Sydney-to-San Francisco flight. He’s generally sleeping from 3 to 9 a.m., but he hopes to wake in time to join his teammates for the second half of the game and get another chance to see Jarryd Hayne.
