MILWAUKEE — In the third quarter Saturday night, Kevin Durant crumpled to the floor and grabbed his left knee. The next couple of minutes threatened to derail the Warriors’ season:
What if Durant was injured? Would that undo the progress Golden State had made?
After convening with team trainers near the bench, Durant returned to the game with a slight limp. The scene that scared many Warriors fans was ultimately overshadowed by yet another efficient display. Durant poured in a game-high 33 points on 10-of-17 shooting (5-of-8 from beyond the arc) to help Golden State hold on for a 124-121 win over the Bucks at the Bradley Center.
