Warriors’ Barbosa to miss at least the next two games

MINNEAPOLIS - The Warriors will take on Minnesota without reserve guard Leandro Barbosa, who left the team Thursday morning to tend to a family matter in Brazil.

Interim head coach Luke Walton said Barbosa is also expected to miss Saturday’s home game against Brooklyn before returning Monday, a day ahead of a home game against Toronto.

“Obviously, when it comes to family, he’ll take as much time as he needs,” Walton said.

Barbosa, the team’s backup shooting guard, is averaging 5.6 points and two assists in 14.6 minutes per game.

Notes: Power forward Draymond Green, small forward Harrison Barnes and reserve swingman Brandon Rush have all been hit by an illness that is making its way through the Warriors’ locker room.
