Warriors guard Ian Clark had his jersey retired Friday evening by his alma mater, Germantown High School, in Germantown, Tenn.
Because Golden State was already in Memphis for Saturday night’s game against the Grizzlies, Clark was able to bring some of his famous friends to the on-campus ceremony. Among the players who attended were Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala.
Clark, 25, became the first player to have his number retired by Germantown High. A three-year varsity starter for the Red Devils, he finished his prep career in the top three all-time with 1,846 points.
