OAKLAND — Even if his job involves coaching the Warriors, Steve Kerr decided to spend part of Wednesday’s practice sitting back and doing nothing.
The reason: Kerr became enthralled with Warriors part-time consultant and former NBA point guard Steve Nash offering wisdom to Warriors star Kevin Durant and second-year guard Patrick McCaw. Nash offered insight that explains why he will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2018.
“I sat there mesmerized watching him at work,” Kerr said before Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
