Warriors anonymously insist that this offseason was good, actually

In an offseason rife with loss, the Warriors are coping as best as they can: anonymously, and through the press.

Two reports published Wednesday cited anonymous team sources as feeling fine, really, about how things have gone over the past few months. The first came from ESPN’s Kendra Andrews, who cited “sources” that said both Steph Curry and Draymond Green were “excited about the moves Golden State has made so far this summer,” she wrote.

There was also this rather revealing note: “After having spent $677 million in penalties since the 2013-14 season and being in the tax four out of the past six seasons, a front office source told ESPN that having financial flexibility was ‘actually really fun,’” Andrews wrote.
