Warriors TV play-by-play man Bob Fitzgerald isn't winning any popularity contests this week in San Antonio.
Fitzgerald, annoyed that rambunctious fans were waving thundersticks in front of the camera as the second quarter of the Warriors-Spurs game ended Sunday night, shared his displeasure by telling viewers, "We even have some jerk off fans trying to screw up the telecast."Nick Moyle of the San Antonio Express-News, on the newspaper's website, mysanantonio.com, said the outburst makes Fitzgerald "basically the Donald Trump of the booth." Because Fitzgerald's call of the game on CSN Bay Area also was fed to NBA TV, plenty of Spurs fans heard his remark.
