It seemed that with Langston Galloway’s recent waiving, the Golden State Warriors were signaling a ramp up of cuts. Apparently, that doesn’t seem to be the case as of yet.
The Warriors signed free-agent guard Quinndary Weatherspoon, the team announced today, bringing their preseason roster total back to 20.
Weatherspoon, listed as a 6’3” shooting guard, was the 49th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He played in 31 games over the past two seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.
His numbers don’t particularly stand out. He averages just 6.
