The Warriors have officially signed free agents Antonius Cleveland, Michael Gbinije, Alex Hamilton and Georges Niang, the team announced Thursday morning.
NBA teams can carry 20-man rosters until trimming them down to 15 the day before the start of the regular season. With the addition of Cleveland, Gbinije, Hamilton and Niang, the Warriors enter training camp on Saturday with the maximum 20 players.
Fifteen of those are on fully guaranteed NBA contracts for the 2017-18 season. Because there is no room on Golden State’s regular-season roster, Cleveland, Gbinije, Hamilton and Niang will likely be waived in the preseason so the Warriors can designate them to their Gatorade League affiliate in Santa Cruz.
